The CA exams, a prestigious nationwide examination, are held thrice a year to assess aspiring Chartered Accountants across India.
Every year approximately 1.5 lakh to 2 lakh candidates sit for the CA Intermediate exams, which take place in May/June, September, & January. Around 90,000 to 1,00,000 candidates appear in the CA Foundation exams, which take place in May/June, September, & January. Roughly 50,000 to 80,000 candidates appears for the CA Final exam, these exams usually take place in May and November.
The entire marks are distributed among multiple subjects including Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation, Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems & Strategic Management, Financial Management & Economics for Finance, Principles and Practice of Accounting, Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting, Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning & Statistics, Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge, Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics, Corporate and Economic Laws, Strategic Cost Management and Performance Evaluation and Elective Paper
